This Privacy Notice explains how Bizmerce processes personal data when you visit our website, create an account, or use the Bizmerce SaaS platform. Merchant storefronts may have their own privacy notices for shoppers.

Scope
This notice covers the Bizmerce marketing and product website, account creation, and the Bizmerce SaaS platform — including Admin, Growth, SaaS billing, and related Bizmerce services.
It does not replace a merchant’s own storefront privacy notice for shoppers. If you shop on a Bizmerce-powered store, that merchant’s notice and practices may apply to your customer relationship with them.
Data we collect
Depending on how you interact with Bizmerce, we may process the following categories of personal data.
Account data
- Name and email address
- Account identifiers
- Organization affiliation where applicable
Membership and workspace data
- Organization membership relationships
- Store context for authorized workspaces
- Role and permission-related data used to authorize actions
Billing data
- Plan and subscription status
- Billing records for Bizmerce SaaS charges
- Payment-provider references where a SaaS billing provider is configured
Technical and security data
- Browser user agent associated with authenticated sessions
- Authentication and session data
- IP address used for authentication, rate limiting, and security controls
- Application logs used to operate and secure the service
- Audit events recorded for protected actions
Support and communication data
- Name, email, company, and message content submitted through Contact
- Security or procurement request details when you choose that contact intent
How we use data
We use personal data to run Bizmerce as a multi-tenant commerce platform and to keep accounts, organizations, and stores secure.
- Provide and operate the Bizmerce platform
- Authenticate users and maintain sessions
- Manage organizations, memberships, and stores
- Enforce permissions and tenant isolation
- Process SaaS subscriptions and billing
- Send transactional and service communications
- Respond to support, security, and privacy requests
- Detect abuse, investigate incidents, and maintain reliability
- Meet applicable legal and accounting obligations
We do not sell personal data.
Merchant and shopper data
Bizmerce distinguishes platform account data from shopper data processed through a merchant’s storefront.
Bizmerce platform users
Bizmerce processes account, organization, subscription, and platform-use data for merchants and their teams so they can operate Admin, Growth, billing, and related services.
Storefront shoppers
Shopper data may be processed through merchant storefronts as part of commerce operations. Merchant privacy notices may apply separately to those shopper relationships. This Bizmerce notice does not automatically replace a merchant’s storefront privacy notice.
Cookies and similar technologies
Bizmerce uses essential cookies and similar technologies required to operate authenticated platform sessions.
- Essential
- Used for authentication, session security, CSRF protection, and core platform functionality when you sign in or use the SaaS product.
- Bizmerce marketing website
- The Bizmerce marketing and product website does not load third-party marketing or analytics tracking scripts.
- Merchant storefronts
- Merchant storefronts may use optional first-party analytics and merchant-configured marketing pixels, subject to that merchant’s privacy notice and applicable consent. Those practices are separate from this Bizmerce platform notice.
Service providers and subprocessors
Bizmerce uses service providers to host and operate the platform. Exact vendors can change with deployment.
Hosting and database
Application hosting and PostgreSQL storage for platform data.
Object storage and CDN
Media storage and delivery (AWS S3 or S3-compatible storage, and CloudFront where configured).
Transactional email
Verification, invitations, and operational notifications via configured SMTP delivery.
SaaS billing
Organization subscription billing to Bizmerce when a billing provider is configured.
Merchant-controlled integrations
Payment and marketing providers connected by a merchant process data according to that merchant’s configuration and notices. They are not automatically Bizmerce subprocessors for shopper funds or ad accounts.
Depending on deployment and service-provider location, personal data may be processed in countries other than the user’s own.

Retention depends on the type of data and why it is needed.
We retain personal data as needed to operate Bizmerce, maintain account and subscription records, support security and audit requirements, meet legal or accounting obligations, and manage backup lifecycles.
Financial, audit, and security records may be retained longer than ordinary account profile data when required for integrity or legal reasons. Merchant organization export and customer anonymization tools exist for store operations; they do not erase required financial or audit history.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request the following for Bizmerce platform account data.
- Access account data associated with your Bizmerce account
- Correction of inaccurate account data
- Deletion of account data where retention is not required
Requests are handled through Contact. Some requests may be limited where Bizmerce must retain records for security, audit, billing, or legal reasons. Shopper requests about a merchant storefront should usually start with that merchant.

For access, correction, deletion, or other privacy questions about the Bizmerce platform, use the Contact page. Choose the Security intake and select Privacy / DPA when that best matches your request.
